The 1st Mano Juan – Saona 2019 Fishing Tournament was performed with resounding success on Saona Island
Three Days of Holidays Filled with joy the Small Tourist Village in the Heart of the Cotubanamá Park enlivened by the Orchestra and the Folkloric Ballet of the Ministry of Tourism, undoubtedly a great Initiative of the Pro-Development Association of Saona Island and its President Eddy Quiñones.
On the weekend of August 9 to 11, hundreds of tourists gathered on the beach of this picturesque town on Saona Island, which emerges directly on the whitest and finest sand, facing the Caribbean Sea, a spectacular turquoise sea worthy of postcard.
Mano Juan’s pier became the scene of the activities, where the Orchestra and the Folkloric Ballet of the Ministry of Tourism were also exhibited, along with other musical groups.
Today, Mano Juan is driving his great ecotourism vocation alongside his old fishing tradition. Therefore, this initiative was manifested as the perfect occasion to celebrate and promote these excellence and warm hospitality.
Some tourists stayed in the town during the three days of the event, staying in the small family-run B&B that have adapted to the humble typical local houses.
Few tents on the beach housed tourists who love direct contact with this uncontaminated nature.
The party atmosphere triumphed all weekend, with music and dancing until the morning.
